Semen Motolyanets (1982 -)
Semen Motolyanets was born in 1982 in Belorussia. Between 1999 and 1998 he studied Design at the Minsk State Architectural and Civil Engineering Institute. Then in 2003 he graduated in painting from the Minsk State Art College and in 2009 he graduated in decorative painting from the Saint Petersburg State Art-Industrial Academy. Between 2003 – 2010 he mastered his black and white photography technique at the 'F. K' studio of the well known photographer Igor Lebedev.
Furthermore he studied contemporary art at the PRO ARTE foundation institute in St. Petersburg (The PRO ARTE Foundation is a non-governmental organization founded in 1999 to promote contemporary culture in the fields of visual art, music and dance).
Semen Motolyanets participated in dozens of solo and group exhibitions as well as participated in the 1st Ural Industrial Biennale.
